ABOUT
Alain Emile is a multi-instrumentalist film & media composer from Puerto Rico based in Los Angeles, CA. Minimalistic and unconventional, his style brings an experimental and collaborative approach to film & media scoring.
His work has premiered at national and international film festivals, including an Official Selection of the 2017 Festival de Cannes Short Film Corner, LALIFF, San Francisco, Seattle and Aspen Film Festival, + others. His recent work Port of a Prince won the audience award at the Pan African Film Fest.
His debut feature film ‘A Place in The Field’ premiered at the Santa Barbara Film Festival in 2022 and was acquired by Lionsgate’s Grindstone Entertainment Group. The film is set for a theatrical release in 2023.
Alain also releases music independently under the moniker Pablo Swiss. His debut album was listed as one of Bandcamp’s best ambient releases of that year.

03.29.23 - The official soundtrack for MANCHA will release digitally on all platforms on April 13th. This will be my first overall official release and the first of many this year.
03.26.23 - MANCHA will be showing at the Aspen Short Film Festival on April 13th as well as the San Francisco Film Festival on April 21st. Two Oscar Qualifying festivals to kick of MANCHA's run.
03.27.23 - PÉTALOS will be showing at the Atlanta Film Festival on April 23th! The film revolves around a Mexican flower vendor who spreads hope and love through the streets of Los Angeles while reminiscing on the life that led her there.
08.22.22 - Lionsgate’s Grindstone Entertainment Group Acquires Veteran Drama ‘A Place In The Field’ From Director Nicole Mejia. The film is set for a teathrical release in 2023.
