SECOND
PROJECT
For Second we designed a sound with the purpose of creating a recurring motif. Something dark that felt like it was continuously moving forwards. We scored the film around this motif, creating an ominous rumbling score that hightened the terror that crept up but rarely showed its face. Karl Richter always comes with a direction in mind for the score and it's always different for every film we've worked together. For Second, we really wanted to tap into the low end and have the score feel like an impending eruption.!
